Still with the old FC drama?

I went to FC ( which is now called FFC), and it seems that I am still the topic of conversation! There are new pictures of my baby posted ( which is ironic, because my pictures of Boy were removed from myspace because of him), and new information about me. Information that they COULD NOT know unless he told them.

I am (righteously) pissed off about this, actually.

But also a little amused that they find our lives so interesting that they must be dissected minutely. And it's so funny reading the stories they come up with! The conglomeration of truth and misinformation is a little dizzying, and it's sometimes shocking to find a nugget of truth amidst all of the bullsh*t.

Moving!

I found a new place! I managed to find one with time to spare; my thirty days on my current place isn't up until the 26th. Today I'm going to try to get everything in my garage over there and put away. It's funny, because so much of my stuff I just never unpacked and left in boxes in the garage, because I didn't feel like I was going to be staying here for very long (and I was right.) Hopefully now I'll be moving into a place that can feel like a home, and hopefully I'll be staying there for a while. So, busy, busy for the next ten days, while I try to get all my stuff out of the old place and into the new, and lots of cleaning on this place so we can get the deposit back!

Talking Boy!

Jem said his first recognizable sentence today! He was playing with a toy car while I was putting him into his carseat, and when he dropped it, he said, "My car, my car? Get my car?" Okay, actually it sounded more like "Mah cah? Mah cah? Geh mah cah?" But in context, it totally made sense.

It must run in the family...

It's been an artistic couple of days for Jem and I. Last night I got a wild hair and decided to paint a friend's garage doors because I found some spray paint while I was helping him clean it. The fireflower needs more work (I ran out of spray those colors of spray paint), but I'm really happy with the ghost tree.



I had so much fun that I decided to go buy some art supplies. Jem fingerpainted for a while, and got really messy. We both had a great time, and I took some pictures, finally!

Uh oh, those hands are getting awfully close to his nice clean face!

Slacker...

Sorry I've been such a slacker about blogging. I haven't had a whole lot happen worth talking about on a forum that anyone (including FC stalkers) can read. I've been working a lot, at two jobs, but keeping busy is good for me.

I'm going to be moving pretty soon. I've been living in this place for 6 months, and not one person in my family has come to visit me! Shame on all of you. I've extended invitations. Oh, well. I guess this will just have to be "The house that nobody saw..."

Jem is being irritating. He doesn't mind if I surf the internet, but the second I start typing he comes over and tries to snatch my hands from the keyboard. I have no idea what his issue is.

Anyway, maybe I'll get some visitors at my next place... which I haven't found yet. I'm starting to panic a little, because I've already givin my 30 days notice here. I'm sure I'll find a place but...

I've got to go. Jem's being too naughty for me to be able to type any longer.
